you can easily fill an image with color to create the sort of effect. There are a few ways you can accomplish this but they’re not equally efficient.

- Select the area you want to fill with color. (There are many ways to select pixels; the tool you use depends on the image.) You don’t need to select a vector shape, just select its shape layer.
- Click on the Set Foreground Color box in the Tools panel to open the Color Picker.
- Choose a fill color and click OK.
- Press [option][shift][delete]([Alt][Shift][Backspace] in Windows). The selected area (or shape) is instantly filled with the foreground color.
