Print to PostScript from anywhere

Because QuarkXPress and Adobe’s Creative Suite don’t use the standard Mac OS X print dialog, it’s not obvious how to export your document as a PostScript file.
One way is to choose File> Print and click the button labeled Printer…. This opens the standard Mac OS X print dialog.

From the “button menu” labeled “PDF”, choose Save as PostScript… Choose a location to save your file, and you’ll have a generic PostScript file generated from your document!
(Note: you can create a PostScript file from any program that uses the standard Mac OS X Print dialog by using this PDF button menu.)
